Services

At MICO, we offer a structured and effective process to get started with ABA therapy services in Miami. Our approach is centered on personalized care from the very first contact.

1. Clinical Diagnosis

A diagnosis from a primary care physician, psychiatrist, or neurologist is required, along with a Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation conducted by a clinical psychologist.

Our 6 Steps to Get Started

3. Initial Assessment

Our clinical team conducts direct observations to identify the child’s strengths and areas for improvement. Based on this assessment, we develop an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).

5. Progress Monitoring and Outcomes

A través de la recopilación y análisis de datos, el BCBA monitorea el progreso del niño, ajustando el tratamiento cuando sea necesario. Además, se ofrece entrenamiento a padres, para que puedan manejar de forma efectiva los desafíos conductuales en casa.

2. Intake Process

Once you contact MICO, we gather the necessary information about your child and your health insurance. We immediately begin the process to obtain service approval from your insurance provider.

4. Start of Direct Therapy

The child will receive care from a certified BCBA and a highly qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The plan is tailored to their specific needs, implementing evidence-based ABA techniques.

6. Ongoing Quality Care

The entire process is designed to provide outstanding clinical care, focused on improving the quality of life for the child and their family.

Parenty training

We believe that the role of parents is fundamental to the child’s progress. That’s why we offer parent training programs where we teach practical strategies to manage challenging behaviors, encourage communication, and promote the child’s independence at home and in other settings

Training and supervition in RBT

MICO is committed to training highly skilled professionals. We provide ongoing training and clinical supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring compliance with ethical and quality standards. Our BCBAs work directly with RBTs to guarantee an effective, compassionate, and personalized approach in every intervention.

Direct Client Therapy

The individual direct therapy service is the core of our intervention. It consists of one-on-one sessions with the child, focusing on specific skills aligned with the goals of the Treatment Plan. Our RBTs implement strategies such as positive reinforcement, behavior modification, and functional skill development under the supervision of a BCBA.
